Thicker formulas like conditioners can dry inside the nozzle tip between uses. If the pump stops drawing product, unscrew the collar and lift the mechanism out of the bottle. Rinse the entire pump under warm running water for one minute, pumping clean water through the stem until the passage runs clear. Shake off excess moisture, screw the pump back onto the bottle firmly, and press down several times to prime the draw tube. Storing bottles to prevent cap buildup
